ILAC Academic Offer

Theoretical Instruction: Human Factors in Aviation.

This course is designed to provide aviation professionals with a deep understanding of how human factors affect decision-making, communication, and performance in high-stress situations. Through theoretical and practical content, participants will learn to identify risks, prevent incidents, and optimize teamwork in the cockpit and other operational areas.

Theoretical Instruction: RVSM (Reduced Vertical Separation Minimum)

Gain the essential knowledge on RVSM requirements, procedures, and optimization. You will learn to manage aircraft in an RVSM environment, understand international regulations, and become familiar with the tools necessary to comply with required safety standards. Additionally, you will be able to apply this knowledge to enhance the efficiency and safety of flight operations.

Theoretical Instruction: AVSEC – Aviation Security

This course provides the knowledge necessary to understand AVSEC principles, as well as the international regulations and procedures governing aviation security. You will learn about access control, aircraft inspection, threat detection, and how to implement emergency procedures to prevent incidents. Additionally, the course will help you develop a proactive safety culture within your organization.

Theoretical Instruction: Safety Management Systems (SMS)

Through this course, you will learn the fundamental principles of SMS, how to implement an effective system in your organization, and how to ensure a proactive safety culture. You will become familiar with international regulations, such as those established by ICAO, and learn how to apply them in day-to-day operations within the aviation sector.

Theoretical Instruction: PBN (Performance-Based Navigation)

The PBN course is designed to provide you with the knowledge required to understand modern navigation systems, implement them in flight operations, and manage optimized routes. You will learn about the different types of RNAV (Area Navigation) and RNP (Required Navigation Performance), and how to improve route accuracy and safety, resulting in fewer delays and more efficient use of airspace.

Theoretical Instruction: Competency-Based Dangerous Goods

Acquire the skills necessary to ensure the safe and efficient transport of dangerous goods in accordance with ICAO’s Dangerous Goods Regulations and IATA Standards. Learn how to properly classify, label, package, and document dangerous goods. Additionally, you will be trained in emergency procedures and methods to prevent risks during air transport.
