The Latin American Institute of Civil Aviation (ILAC) is a company based in the Americas, specialized in capacity building and competency development, focused on the areas of air transport, tourism, and connectivity. ILAC provides competency-based training and instruction services across all areas that make up the aeronautical system.
Our organization has several years of experience in the aviation industry, with a strong track record in Latin America and Argentina across various fields of knowledge and research, and with sustained regional and international projection.
Within the framework of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, ILAC awarded more than 1,000 scholarships during the past year based on applicants’ merit. At the core of our CSR policy is the ILAC Foundation, which also hosts ARTE ILAC, a space that promotes different artistic expressions related to aviation and tourism. In this area, we particularly highlight editorial projects, photography contests, exhibitions, concerts, and the creation of audiovisual material.

Our classrooms are located in facilities owned by the Institute and in various universities, as well as at the university campus of Universidad del Salvador in the Argentine Republic.
Yes. ILAC is certified by civil aviation authorities and authorized by communications authorities. In addition, ILAC is an affiliated member of the United Nations – UNWTO, an observer member of the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission, and an Academic and Research Member of CANSO, among other certifications. Each of our products holds the authorizations and/or certifications required by applicable regulations.
Our classrooms are located at Universidad del Salvador (Av. Callao 660, City of Buenos Aires, and Pilar Campus – Province of Buenos Aires).
Yes, we issue both a certificate of attendance and a certificate of course completion.
It is not required for enrollment or participation in our courses; however, it is mandatory in order to obtain an aeronautical license.
It is not required to participate in our courses taught in Spanish; however, it is recommended. For this purpose, we have our own Language School. For courses taught in English that lead to the issuance of an aeronautical license, at least ICAO Operational Level 4 is required.
Yes. In any country where our College of Aviation offers courses, foreign nationals may attend. Each program may have documentary requirements from the country of origin prior to obtaining the degree or certificate.
ILAC is a certified provider of Flight Procedure Design (FPD) services, including the design, review, and maintenance of Instrument Flight Procedures (IFPDs), both conventional and PBN, such as SID, STAR, RNP APCH, and RNP AR. It is also a certified provider of airspace studies, designs and/or redesigns, and procedure-related cartography, as well as a validation company for documentary, simulator, and flight validation procedures, all with ICAO scope.
