Implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS) for Aeronautical Service Providers

This innovative program aims to strengthen the competencies of key personnel from aeronautical service providers in the implementation and maintenance of the Safety Management System (SMS). It combines theoretical and practical activities designed to simulate real-world contexts for SMS implementation. The course applies international standards on Safety Management, including ICAO Annex 19 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation, ICAO Doc 9859 — Safety Management Manual, as well as guidance from the Safety Management International Collaboration Group (SM ICG) and the Regional Safety Oversight System (SRVSOP).

Operational Safety Risk Analysis

Continuous education is essential in the aviation industry. This course focuses on strengthening competencies in the analysis, assessment, and management of operational safety risks, ensuring that participants remain aligned with industry best practices.

ATS Incident Investigation

Safety is a top priority in aviation. At ILAC — Latin American Institute of Civil Aviation, this course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to investigate Air Traffic Services (ATS) incidents in a structured and systematic manner.

The program focuses on incident analysis, identification of contributing factors, and the development of safety recommendations, in accordance with applicable regulations and industry best practices, supporting safe and efficient aviation operations.
