AIR OPERATOR CERTIFICATION (AOC)

This course trains participants in the certification of air operators and the process for obtaining an Air Operator Certificate (AOC). It covers topics such as applicable regulations, the certification process for obtaining an AOC, and operational specifications and manuals.

12 academic hours

TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION FOR OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE

This course develops participants professional competencies in the preparation and implementation of the technical documentation required for the operation of a commercial air transport company, in accordance with national and international regulations and standards.

Topics covered include organizational design and structure; mandatory basic manuals for certification and operation; operation-specific manuals; maintenance-specific manuals; and the Safety Management Manual.

AERONAUTICAL MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATION CERTIFICATION (AMO)

This course trains participants on the concept and process of certifying Aeronautical Repair Stations, with a focus on specialized repairs involving composite materials. It covers topics such as applicable regulations, the certification process for an aeronautical maintenance organization, and maintenance privileges and limitations.

12 academic hours

CAT II/III Approval and Operation

Upon completion of the course, participants will be qualified to analyze, evaluate, and propose to the Aeronautical Authority the approval of the operator’s special operation (AWO) request, as well as the qualification of personnel and instructors involved in such special operations. The course covers topics including: operating procedures, aerodrome conditions for CAT II and CAT III operations, CAT II and CAT III landing procedures, takeoff procedures, failure management and associated actions, conditions for degradation, applicable regulations, airworthiness procedures, and training, operational, and maintenance programs.

PBN/RNAV APPROVAL AND OPERATION

Upon completion of the course, participants will be qualified to analyze, evaluate, and propose to the Aeronautical Authority the approval of the operator’s PBN/RNAV operations, as well as the qualification of personnel and instructors involved in such operations. The course will cover the following topics: Regional PBN Planning, Introduction to PBN, Generic RNAV approval process, Introduction to RNAV 10, RNAV 10 airworthiness and operational approval, RNAV 10 operational approval, CA 91-001 Appendices, Introduction to RNAV 5, RNAV 5 airworthiness and operational approval, Minimum Equipment List for RNAV 10 and RNAV 5, CA 91-002 Appendices, Introduction to RNAV 1 and RNAV 2, RNAV 1 and RNAV 2 airworthiness and operational approval, and Minimum Equipment List for RNAV 1 and RNAV 2.

EXTENDED DIVERGENCE TIME OPERATIONS (EDTO) AND IN-FLIGHT FUEL MANAGEMENT

Provide airline personnel and/or civil aviation authority staff with a systemic and methodological understanding of the concepts involved in EDTO operations, equipping them with the necessary tools for proper operator certification within the air transport system, in the context of the standards and procedures defined by international reference organizations and authorities.

The following topics will be covered: Theoretical framework – basic reference regulations, General overview of EASA AMC 20-6, Aircraft certification considerations, Maintenance considerations, Flight operations considerations, Implementation of EDTO regulations, and Continuous surveillance.

AIRCRAFT REPAIRS AND ALTERATIONS

Participants will be trained to analyze, interpret, and evaluate the documentation associated with major repairs and alterations in aircraft maintenance, as well as the use of equipment and materials.

The following content will be covered: Class I Aircraft Product Certificates, Approved and Accepted Technical Data, Maintenance Tasks – Certified Organizations/Scope and Records, Major Repairs and Alterations, Replacement Parts, Equipment and Tools.

COMPREHENSIVE OPERATIONAL SAFETY

The objective is to provide participants with an integrated understanding of operational safety as a system, developing a structured program that will serve as the foundation for in-depth study of its modules as standalone courses, enabling specialization in Operational Safety.

Topics covered include: Hazard vs. Risk, Accidents and Incidents, Organizational Culture, Operational Safety, Safety Surveillance Management, and SSP and SMS.
